Do you offer mini sessions?

Actually, yes! Mini-session dates are pre-determined (usually in the Fall) at set locations. Let me know if you’d like to be added to my mailing list to be the first to know about the next mini session date!

Where will we take pictures? What do I wear?

As of March 2023, I have pivoted to working mainly in the Ko Olina/ Kapolei area for full sessions. See the section above about Mini Sessions that are offered at other locations.

As a general rule: light clothes help make light, bright images. If you want a light, monotone look, consider wearing neutrals, pastels, light colors, etc. Pops of bolder colors (pink, blue, purple) will stand out and look great against locations with white sand, though. Please avoid neons, dark brown, and cherry red, as they overwhelm images. Check out this post here for more info.

Do you give all the images?

You know when you’re snapping a selfie and you have to take a few pictures before you get THE ONE that you want to post? After our session together, I make sure to wade through the unflattering clicks and present the best to you. But don’t worry - I don’t hold any great pictures back! You’ll get to see the best of the best and only pay for what you love. The Full Gallery Collection has all of the frame-worthy (non-redundant) images from our time together.

How do I book? When will my session be?

The first step is to fill out the Contact form. After that, I’ll get back to you with some paperwork and available times in your requested date range. A non-refundable Date Reservation Deposit and signed contract will book your date and the remaining balance is due by the date of the session.

Most sessions are right around sunrise or 1hr15 before sunset. In-home newborn sessions are typically during the week, about 9:30am.

When do I get to see my pictures?

I’ll be showing you the back of my camera throughout our session - no surprise reveals here! It’s important that you see how great the images look during our time together. I’ve found this helps clients relax, too, because they can see the magic happening! As for the delivery of the final edited images, it’ll be two weeks or less.

At StephanieH Photography LLC, quality and experience is important. As a legal photography business, I work hard to “do it right.” From the first Contact form to the Final Gallery Delivery and print selection, we are a team. You’re not in an assembly line of clients. Rather, I love to get to know you and work together to get images we’ll love for years to come.
